2009 Komen Race for the Cure Oct 3rd
The Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. It is a unique walk/run that brings thousands of participants and volunteers together with one common goal, to help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. The walk/run begins at 8am and usually all of the morning activities are finished by 11am.
