Butler High School 2010 4AA Football State Champions

Congratulations to Charlotte’s Butler High School Bulldogs as they’ve won their second consecutive 4AA state football championship by easily defeating Wake Forest-Rolesville 44-0 at Raleigh’s Carter-Finley Stadium, on Saturday, December 11, 2010.
Butler (16-0), who won its 31st straight game, is only the second 4A team in Mecklenburg County history to win back-to-back titles, following Independence, which won seven in a row from 2000-06. The win tied the second-largest margin in the 51-year history of the 4A championships.
