Charlotte Ranks As One Of Fastest Growing Cities

New numbers released confirm what Charlotte natives already know: The city is growing quickly.

A study by Rice University finds Charlotte is the 14th fastest growing city in the country. Over the past decade, the Queen City’s population grew by almost 428,000 people.

Just like Charlotte, most of the cities seeing the biggest influx of people are in the South.

Houston, Texas followed by the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Atlanta make up the top three.

Here’s the full list with the number of individuals added to each city over the past decade:
