Charlotte, NC will host its 1st Annual Charlotte Bayou Festival on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Independence Park.
This festival will allow you to experience the heart and soul of Louisiana in true Cajun style from special Louisiana spirit, unique Bayou culture, and Cajun food.
This festival is a family-friendly event with a lot of interactive activities such as the kid’s zone, cooking demonstrations, hot pepper eating contest, roaming jugglers, mask making, face painting, games, and so much more!
The Bayou Festival will feature a wide variety of musical genres including New Orleans roots in Blues, Jazz, Funk, Cajun, Brass, Country, Alternative, Hip Hop, & Rock. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Time: 12pm – 8pm
Cost: Entrance To The Festival Is Free. All You Can Eat Pass For $25
