Bad Boys Arenacross Dixie Championship & Monster Truck Showdown

The Bad Boys of Racing Arenacross Dixie Nationals and Monster Truck Showdown will shake up Charlotte on Friday and Saturday nights January 6 & 7, 2012 inside Bojangles’ Coliseum. This double show will be a motorsports fan’s delight with National Championship Arenacross action and Monster Trucks including BIGFOOT, CLYDESDALE and STRAIT JACKET.

Flying 60-70-80 feet off super cross style jumps is intense. Then throw in thousands of dollars to race for and the Arenacross racers get serious real fast! Iowa pro rider Curt McCabe, last year’s National Champion, will be in Charlotte. “We want to bring the title back to our Storm Lake Honda team and I will be on the gas racing hard to try to win,” said McCabe.

Charlotte rider and former Arenacross Champion Jim Neese will be doing what he can to stop that. He explains, “Last year I was not in shape and got tired after a few laps, but this year I am serious and want to keep all the money here in North Carolina!” Neese is ready and so are another 100+ riders that flock to the event to seek their moment in stardom and to take home either trophies or the big bucks. They’ll all use each other for traction if that’s what it takes.

BIGFOOT driver Larry Swim is ready for the Monster Truck challenge: “I’m looking forward to Charlotte as we have not been back here for three years. BIGFOOT is proud to be here and I must win to keep our sponsors happy so look for some wild action out of our trucks!”
