Description
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department and Partners for Parks will be building a playground at Park Road Park in Memory of the Victims of the Newtown, CT tragedy.
To raise funds for this, there will be a Benefit Concert featuring Nnenna Freelon and The Branford Marsalis Quartet at Freedom Park on Saturday, June 15th at 7pm. All proceeds from Tickets, Alcohol Sales and Donations will go to this special playground.

Start Time: 7pm
Ticket Price: $5 per person, $20 for families of 4 or more
Chairs, picnic baskets and blankets are welcomed.
Please no pets, outside alcohol or glass containers.
