With approximately 650,000 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in the United States each year, many people feel as though they already know how the disease and treatment will impact them or their loved one.
This summer, professional drag racer and championship title holder Jack “Fast Jack” Beckman will be traveling around the country as part of Chemotherapy: Myths or FactsTM, a new campaign aimed at helping cancer patients and their caregivers take charge of their cancer journey by speaking to their doctor to get the facts about chemotherapy.
The campaign features a traveling video booth that will be at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Nationals to collect personal stories of patients and caregivers encouraging them to share myths or facts about chemotherapy they have uncovered during their experience with cancer.
