A great local showcase featuring Midnight Sun, Den of Wolves, Cherbough Way, KM, Dirt Poor and Lisa DeNovo

Cherbough Way
Formed in 2012, North Carolina alternative rockers, Cherbough Way have recently advanced their unique Weezer/Dinosaur Jr. blended with Brand New approach after acquiring a walloping Bonham style of percussion. Giving off a distinctive opus that resonates as loud as a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant, the group pairs their core sound with meticulously written hooks, riffs, and solos as powerful as a screaming locomotive barreling through their small Gastonia hometown.

Den of Wolves
A mix of polished Alternative Rock, Alternative Metal & Hardcore Punk made Den of Wolves one of the most popular bands in the Charlotte area. Den of Wolves was formed after its three members, Tristen, Savo & Khalil, decided to continue writing music following the break-up of their previous band, New Religion. Tristen, Savo & Khalil collaborate together to write high energy, hard driving songs, touching on subjects such as depression, mental and physical abuse, and relationships, but also life, love and growing as an individual. The band is presently in the studio working on their first LP that is soon to be released. The three band members first met in a small two bedroom apartment and formed a 5 piece band, dubbed “New Religion”. Their sound then had a Pop-Rock edge and band mates and biological brothers, Tristen & Khalil were looking for a heavier sound, and quickly began developing their current unique Metal style.

KM
KM, is a HipHop artist from Fredericksburg VA living in Charlotte NC. He graduated and moved to Charlotte over 4 years ago. Started off freestyling in high school. From there he joined a group called GBS and made music in college. Once getting to Charlotte he realized he should take it serious and push his music. For three years KM has been working with local artist and building connections. He is a college graduate who as a passion for sports and music. His music focuses on college, corporate and daily struggles. He has dropped two mixtapes “Overdue” & “My Improvements.”

The Midnight Sun
The Midnight Sun is an original rock group from just outside of Charlotte. They blend old school blues, psychedelia, and classic rock with contemporary streaks of punk and alt/indie rock. From the raspy vocals to the hard hitting rhythms, and the spacey effects to the heavy breaks, TMS will appeal to any listener with their interesting version of rock and roll.

Dirt Poor
Dirt Poor is a high energy, rock band based out of Mineral Springs, NC, and has quickly grown a regional performance rapport with audiences since their 2012 inception. Their roadwork continues to expand with special events, private functions, full-on rock concerts and low-key intimate acoustic settings. Arriving from diverse musical styles, training, and experiences, each musician adds their personality to each performance, while maintaining integrity and respect to every song and their creators.

Lisa De Novo
Lisa began singing and songwriting at a very young age. By age 10, she had 3 albums (and a Christmas album) handwritten in journals. She started performing at church outreaches through music, drama, and dance, then branched out to open mics, and solo gigs. She loves animals, especially cats. It’s the perfect day when it’s sunny, 70 degrees, and just enough time to write a new song. You can catch her performing acoustic sets all over the Carolinas. Her music could be best described as Bubblegum Blues. Most of her inspiration comes from unfortunate events that happen on a regular basis like running into doorknobs or falling in love too soon. She has done several electronic dance music collaborations with DJ’s all over the world.
