Mardi Gras is coming to Charlotte!

The EpiCentre and all of it’s tenants bring you the Parade of Beads, Friday, February 17th starting at 7pm.

During the week prior to Fat Tuesday the EpiCentre will be transformed into the New Orleans French Quarter with decorations, special creole menus, and more.

Kicking off at 7pm on Friday, the DJ will crank up New Orleans Zydeco favorites along with other fitting songs such as the NOLA clap and New Orleans Bounce.

Party goers are encouraged to bring beads and they will be on sale at the event as well. There will be street performers, local team mascots, cheerleaders and bands. Face painters, a cigar studio(profits for charity), and a 6 foot diameter king cake will live on the Libretto’s patio ready for you to get a real taste of Mardi Gras. Multiple Hurricane bars will be spread out through the 1st and 2nd levels of the EpiCentre just as they line Bourbon st.

The main event will start at 9pm when the parade kicks off! Marching bands will lead this group of krewes ranging from social groups, charities, organizations, and other applicants. For more details and to apply to be in the parade email Danny Landry at
