First Night Charlotte – New Year’s Celebration
WBTV First Night Charlotte returns to ring in 2013 with a family-friendly cultural celebration taking place in Uptown Charlotte! First Night Charlotte takes place on New Year’s Eve from 12 p.m. to midnight with First Night Kids from 12 to 5 p.m. at kid-friendly venues and evening programming that runs from 8 to 11:30 p.m. at various venues with the countdown to midnight from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the main stage. With more than 75,000 attendees, First Night Charlotte has grown into one of the biggest and best known events in the Southeast to visit for New Year’s Eve.

First Night is alcohol-free but attendees are encouraged to enjoy the local dining before the Queen Charlotte crown is raised to ring in 2013! 12pm-5pm – Kids Countdown. Cost: $10; $5 for kids 5-12; Kids 4 & under free. 8pm – Adults Countdown. Cost: $10
