Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Description

Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts the Summer Shootout Series Monday and Tuesday nights during the summer, June through July.

In addition to a full program of Legends Car and Bandolero racing, the Summer Shootout Series includes special attractions, such as school bus race nights and a huge Fireworks Extravaganza Night! Racing action takes place under the lights on the quarter-mile oval located on the speedway’s front straightaway.

Lug Nut, the World’s Fastest Mascot, is always on hand to entertain and children can participate in fun and games. Family fun is what you can expect at the Summer Shootout Series.

Adult tickets are just $7 with children ages six to 12 admitted for $3 and kids five and under are admitted for free.

For families looking for summer camping fun, only $30 a night gets you a camping spot at the speedway with full hookups during the Summer Shootout Series. For additional info, contact the camping department at (704) 455-4445 .

Online number registration is closed, but participants can print and fill out the registration form (PDF) and register at the speedway.
