Description
South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church, 8601 Bryant Farms Road, Charlotte, NC 28277, will host a concert by the Celtic duo Thistledown Tinkers at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31 in their Sanctuary.
Thistledown Tinkers is comprised of Trip Rogers and Tom Eure, seasoned music veterans from NC who perform both traditional Scottish and Irish music and original compositions with an impressive arsenal of instruments. The duo has been featured on BBC, in Our State NC magazine, and has appeared at performing arts centers and festivals throughout the southern US.
The concert is free and open to all. A good will offering will be received.
South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church is located in the Blakeney/Stonecrest area at the intersection of Elm Lane, Blakeney Heath Road, and Bryant Farms Road.
