Each year globally, about 14 million people learn they have cancer, which is also the second leading cause of death in the U.S. behind heart disease. Just as cancer affects everyone in different ways, everyone has a role to play to reduce the impact of the disease on individuals, families, and communities.

The vision of the Tux & Chucks event is to celebrate and support the various forms of art such as the art of music, dance, spoken word, etc., while also raising awareness of cancer and how it affects our everyday lives. With your support, a portion of the proceeds from the event will help benefit the American Cancer Society and its research in memory of those we’ve lost and efforts to finding a cure.
