The India Association of Charlotte is proud to showcase the cultural heritage of the Asian-Indian community at the forthcoming 17th Annual Festival of India. It presents a unique opportunity for Charlotte area residents to experience the diversity of cultures, foods, and entertainment of India. The Festival of India offers the perfect setting for friends and family to enjoy time together, to learn, and to have fun. You are cordially invited to this scintillating, vicarious tour of India.

‘Vishwa Taal’ – Special Evening Show

The 75 minute segment called ‘Vishwa Taal’ (Global Beats) will include a percussion ensemble, and fusion dances presented by artists in the community including youth dance groups from the Chapel Hill and Durham areas. This unique program traces the evolution of dance on a global perspective. Vishwa Taal will afford artists from the larger Charlotte community to join together and present a rich multi-cultural program of music and dance.
