Gas Prices In Charlotte Area Continue To Fall

Gas prices in the Charlotte area continued to fall during the past week as nationwide averages reached their lowest in over two years.
According to AAA Carolinas, the average local price today for regular unleaded is $3.18 per gallon, down from $3.23 a week ago. The Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill market’s average was $3.27 a month ago.
South Carolina’s average is $3.04 per gallon, down from $3.09 a week ago and $3.10 a month ago.
The national average is $3.19 per gallon for regular unleaded, down from $3.25 a week ago and from $3.35 a month ago.
