Night of Fashion @ The Metropolitan June 16th
Lotus is teaming up with Vitaminwater for a night of not one, but TWO fashion shows at the Metropolitan. Thursday, June 16th.
On Thursday, June 17th at 7pm, Lotus is teaming up with Vitaminwater for a night of not one, but TWO fashion shows at the Metropolitan. There is no admission charge; instead, there is a recommended $10 donation for Effie Loukas’ favorite charity, Dress for Success.
The first fashion show will be the Lotus “In Style Around the World” show, where Lotus owner Effie Loukas will be showcasing global-inspired looks straight from her Lotus Collection. The international inspirations featured will be looks from Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Greece, and Africa. I recently chatted with Effie in her store and I already have my eyes on buying one of the delicious looks that will walk down the Metropolitan runway!
Immediately after her show is the Vitaminwater fashion event, which has been a cross-country journey of local fashion shows that showcase local design talent. Seven Charlotte designers will participate, and each one has chosen a Vitaminwater color palette to work into their looks. Charlotte’s very own Susu Bear, Joey Hewell and T-Strong will choose their favorite Vitaminwater look, and the winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize.
