Northlake Apple Store Opening Aug 27th
It’s official. After months of rumors and speculation, it has been confirmed that the new Charlotte area Apple store is opening in Northlake Mall on Saturday, August 27th at 10am.
If you’ve been to Northlake mall recently, you may have noticed the big black construction wall with the Apple logo on it on the second floor. That sign was one of the few formal notices provided by Apple as they are usually very tight lipped about their store openings until the last minute.
The company said in an announcement Tuesday that the store would open at 10am on August 27th and will join store openings in Paris and Little Rock, Arkansas, this weekend. Apple has said it will open a total of 30 new stores this year.
The Northlake Apple store is Charlotte’s second; the first opening at SouthPark a few years ago. It’s North Carolina’s fifth Apple retail location.
Like all Apple store openings, a large crowd is expected and the first 1,000 shoppers will get a free T-shirt. All Apple stores are pretty uniformed so you can expect all the same features at this location.
The store is located on Northlake Mall’s second floor, next to the Bebe store.
