Education software and technology firm Thinkgate is moving its headquarters from Atlanta to uptown Charlotte, with plans to hire up to 120 workers over the next three years.
A technology and software provider for education agencies, Thinkgate is moving its corporate headquarters to 21,000-square-foot of space at South Tryon Square in Uptown. The company is relocating its 70 full-time workers and dozens of contractors to the new location and expects to hire an additional 75 to 120 new employees in the next three years. These mid to executive level jobs are expected to pay $50,000 to $200,000 annually.
“After outgrowing our corporate headquarters in Atlanta and our Operations Center in Huntersville, N.C., it made sense to consolidate locations. Charlotte appealed to us due to its excellent quality of life and skilled workforce,” said Eric Waynick, Thinkgate CEO. “In addition to centralizing our operations to improve communication and efficiency, this relocation will put us in the heart of Charlotte’s bourgeoning technology community.
