Since 1985, SwimMAC Carolina has been proud to host the Charlotte UltraSwim®. Through the combined efforts of USA Swimming, USA Swimming Officials, dedicated SwimMAC Coaches and volunteers, talented athletes, and corporate sponsors this meet has grown exponentially in attendance and expectations.
Over the years, the sport of swimming has achieved a new level of visibility, especially since the 2008 Beijing Olympics, with a growing enthusiastic fan base. With this growth and the notoriety of its athletes the USA Swimming Grand Prix Series of competitions, once thought of as mere swim meets, have become true Sporting Events, and SwimMAC is proud to be home to one of the longest standing Grand Prix Races, The Charlotte UltraSwim®.
