Description
Love and revenge come to the McGlohon Theatre August 15-26 as the popular Charlotte Shakespeare Festival presents “The Merchant of Venice”. Jewish moneylender Shylock loans money to the Christian merchant Antonio and demands to be paid a “pound of flesh.”
No admission charged ($5 suggested donation). Pre-show entertainment before each show. Shows Th/Fr 7:30p, Fri 8p, Sat 2p and 8pm, Sun 3p.
