2011 Belk Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade
The 64th annual Belk Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade is one of the largest get-togethers of Carolinians that takes place during the year and has also been recognized by TravelMuse.com as the fourth largest Thanksgiving Parade in the United States. The parade boasts participation from both Carolinas and touches approximately half a million people from the 22 county metro area.

Charlotte’s 36th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service
The service is open to the entire community, as a way of giving thanks and honoring the diversity of faith traditions in the region. The event is sponsored by Mecklenburg Ministries. Nearly 1,500 people attended last year’s service.
