The Charlotte Literary Festival is an annual event held in Charlotte, NC that focuses on both youth and adult literacy. The festival hosts a myriad of local, regional and national authors from various genres. This year look foward to speakers, New York best-selling authors, live entertainment, an Author’s Lane with local and self-published authors, a Vendors Lane and of course the Kid’s Corner which will include an arts and craft fair as well as storytellers and live entertainment for them.
Now entering their fourth year, they have experienced tremendous growth. The Charlotte Literary Festival has become one of the premier cultural attractions in the United States drawing participation from coast to coast. This year they are returning to NoDa, September 5th & 6th (Labor Day weekend). The CLF will include carnival games and rides, vendors, live music, workshops and more. Special guests include Michael Beckwith and Chris Gardner (played by Will Smith in the movie “Pursuit of Happiness”).
