Charlotte Gas Prices Continue To Rise

According to AAA Carolinas, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the Charlotte market has climbed to $3.79 from $3.77 a week ago.

A month ago, a gallon of regular gas cost $3.69 in the Charlotte metro area.

The average price in North Carolina is $3.79, up from $3.75 a week earlier and $3.65 a month ago.

In South Carolina, the average price for regular gasoline is $3.60 per gallon, up from $3.56 a week ago. The price a month ago was $3.44.

The national average is $3.84 per gallon, up from $3.80 a week ago and $3.54 a month ago.
