Description
Carolina Step Fest, 21st biennial non-profit fundraiser, presented by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Rho Psi Omega will showcase competitive step teams from around the country. Stepping is an art form and is a uniquely American genre descended from African song and dance rituals that was introduced by African American fraternities and sororities in the mid -20th century. Performances will integrate technology, songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The mixture of technique, agility, and precision, makes each performance unique and leaves the audience excited and cheering for more!
All proceeds (100%) from the Carolina Step Fest 2013 will benefit scholarships and community service activities.
