Description
The Charlotte Museum of History will host a series of afternoon teas based on the tea-time customs of Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. A guest speaker from the featured country will give a presentation on that country’s culture and tea customs.
The Irish afternoon tea is June 29, 2014 and will feature potato chocolate cake along with a traditional tea menu.
Each tea is from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for each tea is $20 for the public and $15 for members. The package rate for attending all four is $70 for the public and $50 for members.
Seating is limited and pre-registration is required no later than two days prior to the event.
