Description
Camp LUCK is a non-profit organization based in Charlotte, NC that offers children with heart disease an opportunity to attend a medically supervised week long camp! Camp LUCK also offers support to children who are being treated or have recently been diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and their families. All donated items are auctioned off at the dinner and ALL of the proceeds go to Camp LUCK.
Our group started five years ago with the intent of helping and providing families with emotional support during and after cardiac care has been provided. And, we now offer a week long camp for these children. As of today we have over 200 families involved and are growing every month.
Our 3rd Annual “Open Your Heart” auction will take place this September 21, 2013 at City Tavern in Charlotte, NC. We are expecting 150-175 attendees and in the past 2 years have raised more than $35,000 for Camp LUCK.
