Description
The Alpha 1 Village is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for individuals afflicted with Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, a genetic condition that causes lung and/or liver disease. The Alpha 1 Village works to increase awareness of the disease in the medical and public domains as well as provide educational, counseling and physical support for patients.
We would love for you to participate in our Village 10k/5k Run, part of the Resolution Series. The race will be held at Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw, NC on February 2, 2013 at 7:30am. The race will be benefiting the Alpha 1 Village, and we would love for you to show your support for our great cause by volunteering during the event.
