2014 Sip and Stroll: Art, Wine, & Music Festival – Sept 12th & 13th

The 5th Annual Sip and Stroll: Art, Wine, & Music Festival will take place on September 12th & 13, 2014 at the EpiCentre in Uptown Charlotte; offering wine tastings, appetizers, live music, & artwork on display & for sale.

Friday, September 12th is kick-off party and reception, offering wine, appetizers and live music. Live art as well as a select group of artists will be present.

On Saturday Artists will set up booths displaying and selling artwork, additionally over 40 wine vineyards will be present allowing for wine tasting. Areas will be reserved for kids to explore their inner young Picasso with exciting kids activities, while local live music performances are held throughout the weekend. The EpiCentre Sip & Stroll follows the tradition of the finest outdoor art shows in Charlotte, affording attendees the opportunity to meet and interact with artists and purchase their art directly, while sipping award winning wines.

• $25 for Friday- 3 Wine Tickets- 4 oz pour, 5 food tickets
• $25 for Saturday – 10 Wine Sample Tickets
• $40 for both days

– Taste Wine Like a Pro – $10 – Back by Popular Demand! Johnson & Wales Taste like a Pro. Amaze your friends with your ability to talk about and taste wine like the real cork dorks do.

– The Wine Palette – Decorative Wine Bottles – $10 – “You may have enjoyed drinking that bottle of pinot grigio, but the fun doesn’t have to endthere. Join us to hand paint and creatively turn a recycled wine bottle into a uniquely piece or art. Makes a great personalized gift or perfect decorating piece.”

-The Wine Palette – Canvas Painting – $10 – “We will guide you step-by-step in creating your unique masterpiece, while you sip on your favorite beverage. Once you have completed the 90 minute painting session, you will have a beautiful one-of-kind piece of artwork you will be proud to hang on your walls.”

– Blending Seminar – with JUSTIN Vineyards Master Sommelier, Joe Spellman – Learn how to blend and appreciate the high quality and the care of wine – $10
