KIPP Charlotte Inaugural College Send-Off Celebration

Description
KIPP Charlotte will host an inaugural College Send-Off Celebration to honor its high school alumni who are starting college this fall and college alumni who are currently working toward their degrees. The event, which is free for entry and open to the public, will serve as KIPP’s spring fundraiser. Donations are encouraged and will benefit all programs in the elementary and middle schools, as well as the KIPP Through College program.
Guests can mix and mingle with alumni and learn more about the students, programs, students and mission of KIPP Charlotte. “Fly Ty” Jacobs, Charlotte Hornets arena announcer and radio personality, is the celebrity guest emcee. Joining the event as keynote speaker is Super Bowl champion, former Carolina Panther and education advocate Roman Harper.
