• become better prepared to be successful in a multicultural world by learning cultural relativity and sensitivity
• cultivate critical thinking and leadership skills necessary for an informed, engaged, and empowered community
• develop new skills including the ability to synthesize and evaluate information all while making new friends

Get ready for your trip around the global Queen City by joining us for a continental kickoff on Saturday, August 25, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Charlotte Museum of History. Travel the seven continents and learn about the animals, people, and buildings that call these geographic locations home. Attendees will even get to create their own three-dimensional continents!
