The Homeless Street Store – Charlotte – Nov 14th

Please help support a rent-free, premises-free, FREE “pop-up clothing store” for the homeless of Charlotte! The Homeless Street Store will allow us (and volunteers) to provide a warm and welcoming shopping experience to our homeless neighbors.

Donations for Men, Women, and Children of the following are needed: coats, clothing, under shirts, NEW underwear and socks, windbreaker/jackets, business/business casual clothing, travel size toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, lotion, deodorants (roll-on and spray) and wet wipes), towels and wash cloths, shoes/sneakers, book bags, travel size sunscreen, umbrellas, hats, cough drops, chap stick, reading glasses and sun glasses.

Other items appreciated by the community include: snack bars, small water bottles, easy open can goods, no perishable travel food items.

Also for the kids: Toys and Books.

Donations can be dropped off at the Our Lady of Consolation Parish Life Center from 10am-Noon on Saturday, November 14th.
