Join us on Saturday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. when author Richard P. Plumer will give a presentation on Charlotte’s history during the American Revolution. The area was a hotbed of rebellion long before events boiled over in New England. Plumer will discuss the role of Reverend Alexander Craighead, the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and the Foothills Fight for Independence.
